We have always wondered how and why are we here? and what are we doing here? As humans, we were/are/will always seeking an answer for an eternal question……like where did we come from? How did we get here? What are we doing here? What is the true and ultimate purpose of human beings? ….. Science gives somewhat accepted theoretical/practical/proven solutions, but religions give only hazy picture when it comes to cosmos…no matter what religion it is.
I am not here to ignite another war of Atheism Vs Theism, because I do not believe in both…..since both ideologies failed to give any solutions……. so do not worry I am just here to find myself. I am a stargazer, whenever I get a chance to be alone at night, I will look up at sky filled with stars and ask myself will someone or something be watching me as I am watching them? Who or What created all these stars? …..I am one of the numerous humans just trying to find my roots in this vast cosmos…I felt/feel like a lost child and I am trying to find my way to go home or at least I want to know whether I do have a home at all in this immense universe. I invite all of you to join this journey to find our root…..
When someone asked what the world is made up of and who created the world we can easily say everything in the world is made up of 3 subatomic particles Electron, Proton, and Neutron and the 4 forces namely Electromagnetic Force, Strong Nuclear Force, Weak Nuclear Force, and Gravity Force. And for who created the world the answers is that if you give enough time (Billions of years) these subatomic particles and Forces will create everything that we see today. But, I do agree, science still cannot understandably answer who created the subatomic particles. However, given the multitudinous size of the universe and its vastness, it is not at all possible for “Our Delusional Gods” to create such an enormously complex universe, because “Our Delusional Gods” never saw beyond the sun or deep within the particles.
I will give you some comparison to understand the vastness of our universe that we live in:
- The distance between the Earth and the Sun is about 150 Million (150,000,000) kilometers.
- Sunlight takes 8 minutes to reach the earth. So, the sunlight you feel was generated 8 minutes ago.
- The nearest star (Sun) for us is Proxima Centauri. The distance between our Sun and Proxima Centauri is 40,000,000,000,000 Kilometers.
The fastest spaceship humans ever build is Helios Space Probes and this traveled at the speed of 250,000 Km/hour. So, if we travel by Helios Space Probe to go to Proxima Centauri, it will take at least 16,000 years to get there.
- There are around 200 Billion (200,000,000,000) Suns in the Milkyway Galaxy and there could be more than 50 Billion (50,000,000,000) earth-like planets in Milkyway Galaxy alone.
- There are at least 100 Billion (100,000,000,000) Galaxies in the observable universe.
Now I will give the deep insight comparison to understand the building blocks of life, Atoms.
As I mentioned above, everything in the world is made of atoms. The type and arrangement of atoms decide a material's properties such as strength, color, odor, taste, electrical conductivity, toxicity, moisture, etc.

- One gram of gold contains 30,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Gold atoms.
- A single grain of sand consists of 78,000,000,000,000,000,000 Atoms.
- One gram of Copper contains 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Copper Atoms.
There are 92 different types of naturally-occurring atoms. To name a few Oxygen, Carbon, Iron, Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus, Aluminum, Gold, Silver, Calcium, Potassium, etc.
The arrangements of the atoms and the way they were connected together give shape, size, color, texture, etc. to different complex materials or things that we see in our day-to-day life.
For example take carbon atoms, Diamond is made up of Carbon atoms and Charcoal is also made up of Carbon atoms. You may think if both Diamond and Charcoal are made up of same Carbon atoms then how come Diamond is the hardest material in the earth and Charcoal is brittle, it is again because of the structure and arrangements of the carbon atoms that gives the materials their unique strength and weakness.
A single part of human hair consists of 1,000,000,000,000 atoms.
Everything you see around us like trees, car, air, animals, humans, stars, planets, sand, shoe, stone, rock, water, eyes, sofa, computer, plastics, soil, bones, seeds, TV, clothes, gold, steel, oil, paper, road, (EVERYTHIGN IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE) are all made up of Atoms. Atoms are made up of subatomic particles Electron, Proton, and Neutron. Electromagnetic Force, Strong Nuclear Force, Weak Nuclear Force, and Gravity Force are responsible for Fire, Gravity, Light, Magnetism, Electricity, Speed, etc.
Atoms can never be created, destroyed, or changed.
Atoms can only be combined, separated, and rearranged.
For example, if you think that by burning a paper you are destroying the paper it is not true…a paper is chiefly made up of Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen atoms, so when you burn a paper the atoms in the paper such as Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen dissolve into air and the rest becomes ashes. By burning, you are not destroying anything, you are just changing the properties of a material.
Nothing can be destroyed or created in the world. If you think you are creating or growing a child, cub, or plant it is not true, it all grows itself by intake of different foods in the form of different atoms. As a human, we consume at least 300 grams of carbon atoms, that is we take 250, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 of Carbon Atoms daily. And we excrete considerable amount of atoms daily in the form of solid and liquid. 93% of human body is made up of just 3 atoms Oxygen 65%, Carbon 18%, and Hydrogen 10%. The rest 7% is made up of other atoms such as nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, sodium, magnesium, copper, zinc, etc….When we or plants or animals die, the body/plant is decomposed and some atoms in our body, plants, and animals become dissolved in the air as oxygen atom, hydrogen atom, etc and some atoms stays in soil and becomes fertilizer such as Nitrogen atoms, Potassium atoms, Magnesium atoms, etc….. The carbon atoms, over millions and millions of years, becomes Coal, Diamond, Graphite, Petroleum, etc….
Only the atoms can transform and rearrange themselves.
If you are not ready to believe the above then you are the person who believes that mobile phones are working because of God’s magic.
I agree, it is very hard for ordinary humans to accept that everything in the world that you see is only made up of 3 subatomic particles, but I will try to make you understand. I tried to make Hari Prasath (my friend’s son) understand this and he is trying to understand but it will take years for him to understand because he is just an 11-year-old boy.
These are the following facts that you cannot deny:
(I) If 26 letters of English alphabets can make more than 2 Lakhs words –
(II) If 88 keys of piano can make millions of tunes –
(III) If 64 square box of chess can have billions of moves –
(IV) If 0 to 9 numbers can create zillions of numbers -
Then it is also a science fact that:
The different arrangements and various structures of just 92 Atoms can give different size, shape, texture, density, mass, color, transparency, etc. to everything that we see around us in the universe.
